Husband: "I think I am going to take the kids for a walk before dinner."
Me: "It looks like rain."
Husband: "A little rain never hurt anyone."
Wait 3 min. Grab camera and run out the door following them. This is the picture I caught as I opened the door. Is this one of those opportunities for "I told you so" ?
You needn't discourage him from future outings. The hail accomplished that already. How 'bout, "That was a great idea, honey. I'm sure the kids will enjoy a walk on a clearer day next time. At least one person had the right footwear."
