Tonight I captured this rainbow. The last time I saw a rainbow was June 26th, 2009. Almost a year ago. I remember the day so well because not only was it my dad's birthday, but it was an especially difficult day for myself. At the time, I was going through a rather tough experience that I had never dealt with before and my husband was at an airport is some city or another waiting for a delayed flight for over 5 hours. I wanted him home so badly, but it was as if the fates had conspired against us. Luckily, (Although I am sure luck had nothing to do with), I wasn't alone. Through the help of loving family, a really challenging situation wasn't so bad and for that I am grateful. I remember the rainbow so well because of the peace it gave me, almost like a sign from Heaven that things would work out okay. And really they were. That rainbow reminded me that we are never really alone, even when we feel like it.
That turned out pretty cool. I like the snow capped mountains too.
