They were beginning to forget what he looked like. With week after week of travel, he was just that person we spoke to on the phone once or twice a day. So nothing could be better than a few stolen moments of Papa's undivided attention and a good book. And despite the little one calling him mama for most of the stories, by the end it was clear who she was snuggled up to, Papa.

ReplyDeleteYou've mentioned that L travels for work a lot.. what does he do?
He is an instructional designer. He basically designs continuing education and training internally for a large accounting firm. His travel is sporadic, sometimes he is gone a lot and other times not so much. When he is home, we definitely take advantage of papa play and story time.
