Several months ago, I saw this idea in a magazine for creating a card table house. They used a permanent marker to create it. I thought to myself, "Self, I could do better than that, I could sew it and make it really detailed." While that was a nice thought and definitely possible for someone who actually knows how to use a sewing machine, for me it was something way out of my league. However, I am proud to say that I did complete it (mostly). We have a few more touches that we would like to add like shutters on the windows and apples that we could Velcro to the tree, flowers - you know all those "little" touches that end up being way more complicated than you think they should be. But for now, the kid love playing in it and it was kind of a fun thing to figure out and make.
