Today I awoke to the pounding rain outside my window. My first thought was, "It's going to be one of those days!" It was so gloomy. The dreary weather was effecting us all especially my oldest. He spent most of the morning in time-outs for various offenses to his sister, property, and general smart mouthiness. After the rain stopped, we went outside to check for earthworms... none to be found. However, we did find some beautiful flowers lightly speckled with drops of rain. I was hesitant to include this picture today because it seems like pictures like these are a dime a dozen, but considering the mood the day had started, something bright and beautiful was a nice way to end it.
