Day 284 - Speaking of hair...

As if we haven't had our share of random hair around here, these little fur balls have been popping up all over the place! Our puppy has been shedding his winter coat and it has been driving me nuts. I vacuum at least once a day. We even had him professionally groomed, thinking they could get more hair off him than we could - no dice. Any suggestions that might help?

Day 283 - The remains

You can shave it off! Now my child is sporting a lovely cropped cut (With a slight hint of his previous indiscretions) Perfect for summer.

Day 282 - Hair today, gone tomorrow

This child decided that he would try his hand at the profession of barber and hacked off a few good patches like the one pictured above on his head. Lucky for all of us, his haircut was self inflicted and he didn't experiment on sister as I originally thought based on the hair I found in the sink and her repeatedly saying "I cut my hair!" The nice thing about boys is...

Day 281 - Hiding

Why must kids always insist on hiding in wracks of clothing? Usually it is at a department store, but today when I looked and couldn't find her, there she was nestled in a bunch of clothes.

Day 280 - Moldy Molding

We have had a busy last couple of weeks. We discovered mold in our bedroom. Due to the excessively wet weather this winter/spring, an otherwise minor problem was exposed. Only time will tell if this is going to be an "easy" fix or a much more costly one.

Day 279 - Easter bloom

I managed to get a few sunny photos in their easter outfits.

Day 278 - Happy Easter

Looking through their spoils. Sister had finished all her candy off by lunch time. On the bright side, I don't need to portion it out for weeks like Halloween.

15.4.11

Day 277 - Lights, camera, action

Our Ym/Yw put on a roadshow for our stake. If you are unfamiliar with a roadshow, it is a short play that you take to the road by performing at a few different buildings. We did a Jimmer Fredette parody. My hubby got the privilege of emceeing the event which ended up being more embarrassing for me because he kept drawing attention to me in the audience and using me in his little jokes. Hmmm how to repay...

Day 276 - A little helping hand

Here is another day at her dance class. She is getting better, but does require a little extra attention which her teachers have helped her out with.

13.4.11

Day 275 -Ice Cream

We scored some free ice cream from Ben and Jerry's. This child, who I am starting to believe may not actually be related to me, is starting to dislike chocolate. Chocolate! So you can imagine my surprise when he requested the brownie fudge ice cream flavor. 2 bites into it, he decided it wasn't for him. I "unfortunately" had to finish it off for him. I could not let it go to waste. Lucky for him, his uncle was headed to wait in line for some and let him tag-a-long to try his had at a flavor he would actually eat. Unlucky for his uncle, the little chocolate hater, told the store clerk all about how he had already been through the line and didn't like his previous flavor selection. oops!

Day 274 -Watch out

Here is this little guy staring down a hole of the fountain that the water is just about to spray out. Lucky for him, he missed the spray by seconds.

11.4.11

Day 273 - Singing in the rain

Saw this little boy running around with an umbrella and loved the charm of it.

8.4.11

Day 272 -Surprise!

Loved the look of excitement on his face as he was caught off guard by some water.

7.4.11

Day 271 - Jump around

I enrolled the little munchkin in dance. It is probably too soon, but seeing her dance and get excited about it have made the stress of persuading her to pay attention worth it.

6.4.11

Day 270- Fluffy Bobo

Ever look for shapes in the clouds? Look close and you might see Bobo. My son thought this could be a funny clown with a big circle nose, small triangle tuffs of hair on the sides and top.

5.4.11

Day 269 - Bundled up

Walked to the park in sunny weather, walked home in icy cold wind. Only one of us was smart enough to wear a hat.

4.4.11

Day 268 - Cheesy

These last few months, I have really been struggling with this blog. As my last post indicated, I am in fact pregnant and the morning sickness and exhaustion have been making it hard to get motivated. These silly little kids keep me busy too. I am so thankful for moments like the one above because they provide me with more than enough motivation to push through the tiredness and nauseousness and make motherhood an absolute joy. I look at this picture of her silly grin and everything else just melts away.

Day 267 - You were smaller than a dot

Not the clearest shot, but an exciting one.
