Day 189 - Cute kids

Tooks some more pics of these kiddies and loved this one. I love the how sister is admiring her cute brother.

Day 188 - How to...

How to tell if your child is sick: When they normally would be running around playing but instead choose to sleep on the ground next to a puke bowl. Poor kid. He was up all night worshiping the porcelain Gods and by 10 a.m. was exhausted. For some reason the ground was better than his bed or the couch.

Day 187 - Gingerbread houses

We had our annual gingerbread building at Grandma's house (or as my brother-in-law might refer to it as "see how much candy you can pile onto a piece of cardboard" - j/k Mikey) It was so much fun and all the kids loved it. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

Day 186 - Snow dog

So our dog has gone from being afraid of the snow to loving it.
This is a photo my husband took of him frolicking. His eyes are creepy. He looks like a wild animal here.

Here is my photo of Toby playing in the snow.

Day 185 - Away in a Manger

I keep a nativity that I don't mind if the little kiddies can play with. This is how I found it arranged. I especially love the little lamb peering through the straw at Jesus.

23.11.10

Day 184 - Sword Fight

Don't write the little guy off, he has a pretty strong swing.

22.11.10

Day 183 - Santa goes to bed

This is what happens when you bring out some decorations early. Santa becomes a toy and gets to go nighty-nite. Before you know it all the decorations you brought up are scattered in different places throughout the house with the majority ending up in my children's room.

Day 182 - Display

I was cleaning out the cabinet and he made the observation that it looked like he could fit inside. So I suggested we test it out. He agreed, but was very adamant that it was just for a picture and then I had to let him out.

Day 181 - Annual photos

My sister and I took her little guy for some pics. He was the perfect poser. I can't believe how easy it was to get him to smile. (His sisters are equally smiley for the camera, it must run in the family) These are two of my favorite shots.

(In case you are wondering sis, I will be bringing the CD tonight)

180 - Sunset

Talk about an amazing night sky!

16.11.10

179 - Happy Turkey day

Here is to a holiday were we get to glutton ourselves on turkey and pumpkin pie. (Dressing our toddlers in silly outfits is a bonus.) All Jokes a side, I actually appreciate a holiday that you can take time to count your blessings because it is easy to take them for granted. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Day 178 - Leaves

I read somewhere that you should plan 1 day for every hour of time zone difference before you are completely over jetlag. If that is the case, consider my recent blog MIA due to jetlag recovery.

This year we had enough leaves to cover our entire backyard with a nice thick layer. My children were disinterested in playing in them until I wanted to rake them up. Kids.

9.11.10

Day 177 - Moss

Just an interesting photo.

8.11.10

Day 176 - The Doors

Not just a 1970's band, but a way of life in Dublin. It is full of houses in the Georgian style with these brightly colored doors. I am trying to decide if I could get away with a door this color on my house.

7.11.10

Day 175 - See the forest through the trees

Don't you just want to go wander that forest for a bit?

6.11.10

Day 174- Creepy Church

This creepy old church is called Kilmalkedar Church. It sits on the Dingle Pennisula in Ireland. The graveyard was built around the church and as a result, sits a bit higher than the church itself and is uneven. The keystone for this church looked like a man crying. This was also one of my favorite sites on the pennisula.

5.11.10

Day 173 - Water is life

I absolutely love this shot. I don't really know what it was about it, but it totally captives me. Also for the record, this photo is "as is", I have done nothing to mess with the color, that is how it really looked.

4.11.10

Day 172 - A day away

This is one of the perks of frequent travel. You get to spend your 4 hour layover in an exclusive lounge and eat cheese and crackers.

3.11.10

Day 171 - The latest craze

The Blanket Game. It is all the rage among preschoolers. Here is how you play: You lay on the ground and have someone above you, preferably on a bunkbed, pummel you with blankets, pillows, and stuffed animals. Then you trade places and do the same to them.

2.11.10

Day 170 - Young love

Actually, I think she is just using him for his i-pod.

1.11.10

Day 169 - Birthday wishes

The view from the other side of the candle. (Yes, I know everything is blurry. The background is suppose to be, but the cake/candle isn't.)
